Idris Elba Pulls Out Of Dj Gig Over Film Scheduling Issues

The Wire star was booked to perform on the first night of the Forbidden Fruit festival in Dublin, but he has withdrawn his name.

A spokesperson for the event says, "Idris had rescheduled filming commitments which unfortunately clashed with his set."

It's not clear which movie project has scuppered the actor/DJ's weekend plans.

Fat Boy Slim, Wu Tang Clan and Richie Hawton are among the headliners at the festival.
