Kim Kardashian West: I Wish I Was More Confident

Kim Kardashian West wishes she was more confident.

The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star famously tried to ''break the internet'' by posing nude for a cover shoot for Paper magazine but has admitted she wishes she had less confidence issues as a young girl.

When asked what advice she would give to her younger self, she told The Today Show: ''I wish I had more confidence when I was younger.

''(I wasn't) really insecure, I was just really shy.''

Meanwhile, the 34-year-old television personality - who is married to rapper Kanye West, 37 - previously admitted her confidence grew once she gave birth to their child, 22-month-old North.

She said: ''My level of confidence has just changed so much I think since I've had the baby. I put a lot of work into (my body) and there's a sense of accomplishment you have when you lose weight like that.

''I just felt really good about myself. And it was a proud moment for me.''

And Kim, who is releasing a book full of her selfies next month, also admitted she loves letting people see her life through the candid snaps.

She said: ''I love to give the viewers a sneak peek into what I'm really doing.

''If I'm getting my make-up done or my shoe breaks or whatever is really going on, I typically like to document that.

''I think people enjoy that and seeing that it's candid instead of it being perfect.''
