Verne Troyer 'Fine' After Seizure Scare

The pint-sized Austin Powers star was attending a meet-and-greet event with fans at a comic book convention in Waco, Texas when he was taken ill as he struggled to breathe.

He was briefly hospitalised, but later took to his website to share a video message with worried devotees.

In the clip, Troyer said, "I'm sure you guys have heard some news that I went to the hospital. But I just want to reassure you and let everyone know that I am fine.

"I was there for maybe a couple hours, did some tests, and now I'm here at the hotel and I plan on signing again tomorrow."

Troyer, 46, kept his word and attended the second day of the Heart of Texas Comic Con on Sunday (22Mar15) as promised.
