Former Power Ranger Accused Of Stabbing Roommate With Sword
In what is easily the weirdest and most disturbing story of the day, a Palmdale man, known for his role in the kids’ show Power Rangers, has reportedly been arrested in relation to an incident where his roommate was fatally stabbed with a sword. Yes, sorry everyone, it’s that kind of day.

The man, 36-year-old Ricardo Medina, was arrested following the incident, which occurred shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday at a house in the 38000 block of San Francisquito Canyon Road, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, the LA Times reports.
According to the police report, the situation escalated after Medina had a heated argument with his roommate. The actor and his girlfriend retired to his bedroom. Sutter, 36, followed and forced open the door to the bedroom; Medina took up a sword that he kept next to the door and fatally stabbed Sutter once in the abdomen, authorities said.

Medina was the one to call authorities and he stayed on site until police arrived. He was interviewed by detectives and arrested. His bail has been set at $1 million.
And, in case you don’t have your Power Rangers factsheets handy, Medina played the Red Lion Wild Force Ranger on the Power Rangers Wild Force series in 2002 and voiced the character Deker on Power Rangers Samurai in 2012-13, among other acting roles.
