Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney Team Up For 'FourFiveSeconds'

  • 25 January 2015

Rihanna has suddenly released a new song featuring Paul McCartney and Kanye West. The 'Diamonds' singer released her new track, entitled 'FourFiveSeconds' on Saturday (24th January). West appeared at the iHeartRadio Summit on Wednesday (21st January) and used the opportunity to debut the new track. West performs vocals with Rihanna and McCartney provides acoustics for 'FourFiveSeconds'. The event was primarily for those working within radio but the trio's song is now available online.

Image caption 'FourFiveSeconds' is certainly different to anything West has done before and McCartney's influence is evident with both West and Rihanna sounding low-key and, whilst more raw, still displaying the range of their musical talents.

'FourFiveSeconds' has certainly got Rihanna's fans excited about the prospect of a new album. 26-year-old Rihanna's last album, Unapologetic, was released in 2012 and she hasn't released anything new since. However, in November, Rihanna told E! she was working on new material and was enjoying being back in the studio. "I'm in the studio right now with a killer team and I'm excited about what we're doing," Rihanna told a reporter from E!.
