Watch Out Cannes 2015, The Coen Brothers Are Coming
Joel and Ethan Coen are to serve as co-presidents of the 68th Cannes Film Festival jury. The official line-up and jury will be announced in April while the festival takes place May 13-24.
"We look forward to returning to Cannes this year," the Oscar-winning directors said in a statement. "We welcome as always the opportunity to watch movies there from all over the world. Cannes is a festival that has been important to us since the very beginning of our career. Presiding over the Jury is a special honor, since we have never heretofore been president of anything. We will issue further proclamations at the appropriate time."

The Coens have a strong history with Cannes, having won the Palme d'Or in 1991 for Barton Fink and the festival's Grand Prix prize for Inside Llewyn Davis in 2013. They've also won Best Director twice, for Fargo in 1996 and The Man Who Wasn't There in 2001.
The directors could find themselves among the prizes again in 2016 with new comedy Hail Caesar! starring George Clooney, Christophe Lambert, Scarlett Johansson, Tilda Swinton, Josh Brolin and Channing Tatum. It tells the story of a Hollywood fixer in the 1950s who works to keep the studio's stars in line.

Films in competition at last year's festival included Foxcatcher, Mr Turner and Two Days, One Night though the Palme d'Or went to Nuri Bilge Ceylan's Winter Sleep, about a former actor who runs a small hotel in central Anatolia with his young wife Nihal with whom he has a stormy relationship.
The Hungarian drama White God won the Prize Un Certain Regard.
