Hayley Williams Is Engaged To Chad Gilbert

Hayley Williams has got engaged to Chad Gilbert.

The Paramore star was asked by her boyfriend, New Found Glory guitarist Chad - whom she has been dating since 2008 - for her hand in marriage on Christmas Day (25.12.14).

The 26-year-old singer broke the news on her Twitter account by sharing a picture of their heads super-imposed on the bodies of a couple on their wedding day.

She wrote alongside the photo: ''Hey guess what?''

Chad - who was previously married to musician Sherri DuPree - shared the same picture and captioned the image: ''Popped the question on Christmas Day! #micdrop (sic)''

Following the announcement the flame-haired beauty received messages of congratulations on the social media site from her celebrity pals including Taylor Swift and Katy Perry.

Taylor wrote: ''CONGRATULATIONS YOU CRAZY KIDS!!!! (sic)''

While Katy said: ''YAS! Now this is truly punk rock! CONGRATS! (sic)''

Hayley also thanked all her friends and followers their support and admitted she couldn't wait for 2015.

She wrote: ''Can't even keep up w/ the sweet texts, emails, tweets. Thx so much yall! We're so psyched! See yall in 2015 (sic)''
