37-year-old Diamond was arrested in Port Washington, Wisconsin in the early hours of Friday (27th December) morning, according to reports in TMZ. Diamond was charged with possession of a switchblade, reckless endangerment in the first degree and carrying a concealed weapon by the Ozaukee County Sherriff's Department.
The incident occurred after Diamond reportedly stabbed a man with a switchblade late on Christmas evening. Reports in ABC claim the police were called to a bar on Thursday evening after a man was stabbed and the assailant fled the scene. Diamond reportedly stabbed the man after he stepped into an altercation between his girlfriend and another woman. A larger group of people in the bar allegedly became involved and Diamond claims he attacked the man in self defence. According to the police report: "Diamond stated that he did not intentionally stab the individual in the bar but that chaos broke out and people were grabbing at him and that he swung his arms to break free."
Diamond was later apprehended by police and the switchblade uncovered in a car in which he was a passenger. Diamond and his girlfriend were arrested and appeared in court on Friday (27th December). Diamond was charged with three counts: possession of a switchblade, reckless endangerment in the first degree and carrying a concealed weapon. His girlfriend was also charged with disorderly conduct and released.
