Chris Martin Claims He Was Kidnapped By Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt
In a rare occasion Chris Martin revealed he has a good sense of humour when being quizzed about how he was approached to write the song 'Miracles' for Angelina Jolie's latest directorial effort, the WWII flick 'Unbroken.'
While attending a recent Hollywood luncheon, the Coldplay frontman quickly made up a tale that included the imminent threat of serious harm, kidnap and even a blindfold, when a reporter asked how the track for the upcoming drama came about.

"I got a message that said, 'Meet in this undisclosed location. You'll be blindfolded and picked up by seven ex-Navy SEALS,'" he joked to Vulture. "So they kidnapped me, hit me over the head, and sprayed me with Mace. When I woke up, I was in an office, and Brad Pitt was doing push-ups as Angelina Jolie was just sitting there with her crown on."
As well as a successful singer and songwriter, Martin may have a future in comedy!

"There was also a guy holding a knife to my throat, and she said, 'Write me a song or else.' And Brad Pitt said, 'Yeah. What she said,'" he continued. "We wrote a song and then she said, 'It's through to the final eight,' and then we had live eliminations at her house."
And in the very extreme X-Factor-style audition, how did Martin do? "We came in second, but the main guy chickened out," he joked.
Eventually the 37-year-old singer did get serious, and he recalled the unique experience of creating a soundtrack rather than a song for his band. "I find that a little bit of limitation is really helpful when you're trying to create," he explained. "It's the same way when someone says to me, 'Here's the film and the book. Write something about that.' It's really nice to have those limitations because otherwise, where do you start?"
