Julia Roberts, Derek Hough & Rose McGowan Attend 10th Annual GLSEN Respect Awards [Pictures]

Julia Roberts, Derek Hough and Rose McGowan were amongst the celebrities in attendance at the 10th Annual GLSEN Respect Awards held at the Beverly Wilshire, Los Angeles on Friday 17th Oct.

The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) is an organisation founded in 1990 which focuses on ensuring school environments are safe for every pupil. The organisation's awards ceremony is held annually and is usually attended by a range of celebrities.

This year's honourees include Roberts and DANNY MODER for the Humanitarian Award. In a statement, issued when the award winners were announced, GLSEN explained they had selected Roberts and Moder for "their commitment to, and support of, numerous philanthropic endeavours and humanitarian causes." The statement added, "They bring a sense of stewardship, responsibility and consciousness to their humanitarian efforts and serve as wonderful role models."
