Lady Gaga To Release Second Fragrance

  • 12 August 2014

Lady GaGa is releasing a new fragrance.

The perfume - entitled Eau de Gaga - is the second to be designed by the 'Pokerface' hitmaker, following on from the success of her unisex fragrance Lady Gaga Fame in 2012.

The Grammy Award-winner revealed the perfume - which is set to be released this Autumn - on her Facebook page where she wrote: ''It's for the adventurous woman and the man who loves her.''

The perfume is said to be a 'woody-floral-citrus scent' and has been described by the 28-year-old singer as having a ''sparkling water, lime, leather'' base and a ''very clean expensive'' smell.

She also hinted at the launch of another fragrance in the future, saying: ''This is just EAU DE GAGA no. 1.''

Eau de Gaga is set to be released on the global market including in the UK, Europe and Australia later this year but it is not yet known whether it will be released in the US, reports WWD.

Meanwhile, a set of 'video portraits' of Gaga raised $1 million when they were auctioned off at the Watermill Center gala in the Hamptons last month.

The 23 images - which include one of the controversial singer posing as a beheaded John the Baptist and hanging tied-up and naked upside-down - were shot by Avant-garde director Robert Wilson and displayed in the Louvre museum in Paris before being sold off to fetch the staggering sum.
