Ian Somerhalder And Nikki Reed Get Affectionate At Comic-Con 2014

Apparently Comic-Con is one giant love fest this year, with Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed reportedly joining the couples list at the con. The actors were spotted together on several occasions over the weekend, but according to E! News, they hung out a lot at Comic-Con.

Both are newly single, as far as tabloid reports go. Somerhalder had a widely reported break-up with Nina Dobrev in 2013, while Reed split from her husband, American Idol alum Paul McDonald in March, 2014. So the timing seems right. Maybe it was their shared appreciation of vampires that sparked the connection?

The 26-year-old actress is best known for her supporting role in the Twilight films and Somerhalder, 35, is on The Vampire Diaries alongside former flame Nina Dobrev, who, coincidentally, also seemed to be enjoying a new romance at SDCC.

Reed and Somerhalder (get on that couple nickname, internet) were spotted kissing at Entertainment Weekly’s SDCC party at the Hard Rock Hotel's Float Bar.

As E’s source eloquently puts it, “They were so together.”

Another source, unnamed again, allegedly told the website that the pair were getting “hot and heavy” and “not hiding their PDA at all.” Coincidentally, that may be the least hot way to describe a PDA ever.
