The Fifty Shades Of Grey Movie Trailer Is Here: Was It Worth The Wait?

The moment Fifty Shades of Grey fans have been waiting for is finally here, yes the Fifty Shades of Grey movie trailer has just been released. The two and a half minute clip gives fans their first look at Jamie Dornan in action as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele. But now we’ve finally had our first encounter with Christian Grey, are we left feeling satisfied?

Any fans who worried that Johnson and Dornan might not have the right onscreen chemistry can breathe a sigh of relief, the pair seem great together. Johnson works well as the nervous Anastasia and Dornan always looks like he’s ready for a GQ cover. But despite his good looks Anastasia seems to think Christian must be really boring despite the fact he owns a helicopter and appears to be quite the adrenaline junkie.

But helicopter’s aside, we know what really makes Christian interesting and what we're really waiting for is Christian and Anastasia’s romance heating up. Our first taste of action comes from an elevator make out session, which while steamy isn't quite what we were promised from Fifty Shades. But the big reveal is still to come as Grey drops hints that their might be more to him telling Anastasia he "doesn't really do romance" and his tastes are something she wouldn't understand.

Then comes the big reveal, as we find out, yes Christian Grey is a bit kinky and even has a room full of blindfolds and whips! For those who had worried the movie would be too tame, this should ease their fears.

As far as trailers go Fifty Shades has got the right idea. They know exactly what everyones expecting from the film, and the trailer leads up to it perfectly, while still being careful not to give too much away. Fifty Shades of Grey might be one of the most anticipated movies in recent years but it also could be one of the few which meets all expectations. Really, Valentines Day 2015 could come any sooner.
