Despite Being Re-Cast, Charlie Hunnam Is Still Rooting For "Fifty Shades Of Grey"

In case you’re not interested in Fifty Shades of Grey news, look away now. Actually, you may want to disconnect from the internet for the next week or so. Between Beyonce’s recent Instagram teaser and the full-length trailer for the adaptation of E. L. James’ erotic novel coming this Thursday, Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele will be pretty much inescapable in the days ahead.

_Isn’t it just heartwarming when celebrities have each other’s backs? Note, however, that the actor deftly avoided the subject of his own exit from the project. At the time, his casting and that of co-star Dakota Johnson was met with widespread backlash from Fifty Shades fans, who thought that Hunnam in particular was not an appropriate choice to portray the dominant, but emotionally vulnerable Christian Grey. Fans got what they wanted – more or less – with the casting of former Calvin Klein model Jamie Dornan. And all was well in the land of erotic fiction - until the premiere, at least._
