Beyoncé may not be eligible for enrolment into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame but the museum's curator certainly thinks she deserves to be. The 32-year-old is being honoured at the Cleveland, Ohio based museum as many of her clothes from music videos, performances and red carpet events are being displayed.

A special exhibition is being commissioned by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum and will fill a space previously reserved for those already enrolled into the Hall of Fame, the Hall of Legends. The museum curator, Meredith Rutledge-Borger, explained how the museum had been courting Beyonce for years and that they consider her on par with such great female artists as Aretha Franklin and Janis Joplin. This is one of the reasons why Beyonce's exhibition will be held in the Ahmet Ertegun Main Exhibit Hall.

Rutledge-Borger also stated Beyoncé had sent a vast array of her outfits and the exhibition hall was the only suitable space to display everything. As ABC News reports, Rutledge-Borger said: "When we looked at the depth of the amount of stuff that she was willing to send, we just thought, 'The only way we can really showcase these items is to put them in the Legends of Rock area in the museum,' which really is the spot that we have to pay tribute to legends of rock, which Beyoncé has proven herself to be."

From what we can gather from the museum's announcement here are a few of Beyoncé's outfits which will be displayed at the exhibition:

'Single Ladies' (2008)

Beyoncé's black leotard from her music video for her 2008 single 'Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)' is set to be exhibited. Her asymmetric leotard exposed one shoulder whilst the other side had a long sleeve ending with a jewelled cuff. The 'Single Ladies' video featured Beyoncé dancing against a plain background with two other leotard glad female dancers. The video, dance and song has become one of Beyoncé's best known and best loved. As a result, her appearance in the video has been immortalised by Madame Tussauds Museum which created a wax work of Beyoncé in London.

The Impossible Conversations Met Gala (2012)

Beyoncé attended the Met Gala in New York in 2012 and wore a fabulous black and purple Givenchy dress. The sheer dress raised some eyebrows as it consisted of a nude coloured leotard underneath a floor length transparent gown, embellished with black beads in appropriate areas. The entire outline of her lower body could be made out before the dress went out into a train decorated with black and purple feathers.

Beyoncé's Super Bowl Performance (2013)

Beyoncé performed at the 2013 Super Bowl half time break and stunned the audience with her incredible performance of 'Halo' and her magnificent outfit. Keeping to tradition, Beyoncé wore a black leotard in leather-like material, the neckline of which was cut to just about her belly button. But the most magnificent aspect of all was the lace like pattern which covered her thighs.

One of Beyoncé's outfits from her 2003 debut single 'Crazy In Love' will also be displayed. The single wore a white tank top, blue denim shorts and leather pumps which are also set to go on display.

Is there any other outfit from one of Beyoncé's music videos, performances or appearances you think deserves a spot in the Hall of Fame?
