Rick Ross' Super Jam 2014 Gig Dampened By Subsequent Arrest
Rapper/hip hop icon Rick Ross was arrested Friday following his SuperJam concert in North Carolina. Despite the coincidence, the arrest had nothing to do with the gig. In fact, it was due to a previous marijuana charge, for which the rapper, whose real name is William L. Roberts, failed to appear in court.
According to the Greensboro News & Record, the Mastermind was taken to a magistrate's office as soon as he was done performing, but he was eventually released after posting a $1,000 bond. His new court date has not been announced.

The Associated Press’ request for comment from Universal Music Group have not been answered and the only insight into the night of the concert comes from a tweet by Ross from Saturday morning.

The concert also featured the likes of Yo Gotti, Young Thug, K Camp, YG, Kid Ink, some of whom made their first appearances at the long-running hip hop festival.
