AMC's "Better Call Saul" Premiere Postponed, Show Expanded With Second Season

Better Call Saul, AMC’s upcoming Breaking Bad spinoff is yet to air a single episode, but has already been renewed for a second season. The new series, which will star _Breaking Bad’s Bob Odenkirk and may or may not feature appearances from Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, has received an extra 13-episode order, bringing its total number of episodes to 23, according to The Hollywood Reporter._

As for its premiere date, it has been pushed back, meaning that the series will not premiere until 2015, instead of the previously announced date in November. The second season will then air in 2016. Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan directs the series premiere and will be co-showrunning with Peter Gould. Gould is the mind behind the Saul Goodman character, played by Bob Odenkirk. Filming is underway on the 10-episode first season in Albuquerque, N.M.
