Reese Witherspoon Calls Sofia Vergara Her 'work Wife'

Reese Witherspoon refers to Sofia Vergara as her ''work wife''.

The actresses are filming new movie 'Don't Mess With Texas' in which they play a police officer and a prisoner on the run together, and Reese shared some snaps of them on set yesterday (06.06.14).

Alongside one picture of Sofia leaning in to apply her friend's make-up, Reese wrote on Instagram: ''Thanks for the makeup @SofiaVergara Now can you do my hair?''

Sofia - who is in New Orleans with Reese for the shoot - posted a similar photo, with the caption: ''Makeup emergency, NoLa Set! @RWitherspoon don't panic!''

Reese has been helping her co-star get over her recent split from fiance Nick Loeb while they shoot the film, which the failed politician reportedly begged his former partner to help him get a part in.

Sources say the 38-year-old had been trying to take advantage of Sofia's fame for a while.

An insider said: ''He's always tried to use her success to make himself successful. I think she's finally started to see him as the opportunist he really is.''
