Marlon Wayans Confirmed As Host For Mtv Africa Music Awards

Funnyman Marlon Wayans has signed on to host the first MTV Africa Music Awards for three years in Durban, South Africa next month (07Jun14).

The A Haunted House star will front the ceremony and introduce performers Trey Songz, Miguel and French Montana to the stage.

The _Mama_s launched in 2008 and last took place in Lagos, Nigeria, in 2010.

This year's nominees include South African artists Big Nuz, Mafikizolo and Mi Casa, Nigerian stars Wizkid and P-Square, and Kenya's Sauti Sol.
