Terminator: Genesis Gets A Time Lord, As Matt Smith Signs On For 'Major' New Role

He may still be the Doctor to some, but Matt Smith has bagged himself a major new role in the upcoming Terminator: Genesis movie. Paramount have now confirmed that Smith will play a major new role in the trilogy and reports are saying his part is set to grow over the course of the three films.

Information on the new Terminator trilogy has been scarce, but we do know Thor: The Dark World's Alan Taylor will direct. The film's set up is thought to include time travel, with scenes from the original 1984 movie being reprised.
