Louis Gross Admits Using Forged Bills
The Sopranos actor Louis Gross has admitted trying to settle a bar bill using fake $100 (£62.50) notes.
The 31 year old, who had a role as Tony Soprano's driver in the hit Mob series, originally denied trying to use fake $100 bills to buy food at a bar in Manhattan last August (13), claiming he did not know the cash was counterfeit.
Gross changed his plea at a court hearing in New York City on Monday (28Apr14) and admitted criminal possession of a forged instrument.
He is expected to get five years' probation when he is sentenced in Manhattan Supreme Court on 16 June (14).
