Jackie Chan Sweeps Chinese Film Market

Jackie Chan's new movie Police Story 2013 has topped the year-end box office in China, the world's second biggest film market.

The action film scored a $45 million (_Gbp_30 million) take during the past week, unseating Feng Xiaogang's comedy Personal Tailor as the year's top movie.

The Ding Sheng movie, which also features Liu Ye and Jing Tian, took in almost $21 million (_Gbp_14 million) in its first weekend on release last month (Dec13).
