Court Revokes Chris Brown's Probation Yet Again, Singer Remains Free And In Treatment

Chris Brown is in trouble with the law again. More accurately, his trouble continues, as the singer’s probation in his 2009 assault charge has been revoked. Brown has been on probation since the notorious assault on his then-girlfriend Rihanna. Currently, the R&B singer is in trouble following his arrest in Washington back in October and a misdemeanor charge for an altercation, in which Brown was accused of hitting a man, who tried to take his picture outside the W Hotel.

All this has stacked up against the singer and on Monday, Brown received a warning from Los Angeles County Superiour Court Judge James R. Brandlin, who noted that the criminal complaint violated the terms of his probation because it meant that he was not obeying all laws.

Thankfully for Brown, he has not been ordered to return to jail, because the judge noted that he was pleased with his progress at an LA rehab facility, LA Now reports. According to TMZ, Brandlin ordered the singer to stop using medical marijuana, which his rehab clinic claims he has already done. This is the second time the troubled (and troublesome) artist has had his probation revoked this year.

In November, the "Love More" singer was ordered to a 90-day live-in anger-management treatment program in which he would have to complete three eight-hour days of community service each week and undergo periodic drug tests. He will be back in court for another hearing on February 10th. Brown has been diagnosed with attention deficit disorder and according to his progress report, became depressed, when he wasn’t credited for the full hours of community service. The report noted this as a setback “mentally and emotionally” for Brown.
