Rolling Stones Tickets Told Out In Ten Minutes

  • 16 December 2013

The Rolling Stones tour tickets sold out in ten minutes.

The band are heading to Australia and New Zealand in March next year with gigs in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Hanging Rock, Brisbane and Auckland and promoter Michael Gudinski wasn't shocked by the response from the band's loyal fans.

He said: ''The Rolling Stones have proven yet again why they are one of the biggest rock acts in the world''

But he also warned to beware of scalpers, adding: ''Despite claims from many of these unauthorised sellers that they will guarantee tickets, evidence from numerous tours would suggest this is not the case, with many fans being defrauded or left standing outside a venue without legitimate tickets.

''I cannot stress the importance of buying tickets from authorised outlets only.''

The Rolling Stones - made up of Mick Jagger Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood - played two sold-out headline dates at London's Hyde Park in July after their performance at Glastonbury Festival.

Keith said: ''The best place in the world for me is out on that stage.

''Standby everyone ... it's back to where we belong, me, Mick, Charlie and Ronnie and some friends all rocking out together.

''The wheels are in motion and we're on our way ... see you very soon!''
