'Jupiter Ascending': What's The Wachowskis' New Sci-Fi All About? [Trailer + Pictures]

The trailer has just been released for the the Wachowskis' 2014 futuristic sci-fi adventure Jupiter Ascending in which Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis star as two individuals whose lives become intertwined.

The duo have ensured that their early trailer is packed with as much visually dynamic eye-candy as possible, showcasing not only their movies respectable cast but jaw-dropping digital effects used to conjure great leaps through space to other worlds.

However, one of the more immediate observations that leaps from Jupiter Ascending's trailer is Channing Tatum's rather unusual, elfin ears - presumably signifying that he is an alien lifeform. We're sure all will be explained upon the movie's release next year but for now please forgive us for saying that right now the Magic Mike actor just looks a little bit silly.

Jupiter Ascending is set for release on the 25th July 2014.
