'Fast & Furious' Co-Star Vin Diesel Honors Paul Walker In Touching Message
Four days after Paul Walker’s tragic death, his on and off-screen friend Vin Diesel has issued a statement in mourning. The actor wrote on his Facebook page: “Pablo, I wish you could see the world right now and the profound impact, your full life has had on it, on Us… on me.”
“I will always love you Brian,” Diesel adds, referring to Walker’s character in the “Fast” franchise, “as the brother you were on and offscreen.”
Walker was in a car crash on Saturday, which killed both him and the driver of the vehicle, Roger Rodas. At the time, the Fast and Furious actor was on a break from filming the seventh installment in the franchise. Filming has now been halted, while the studio (Universal Studios is the main company behind the films) figures out how to handle Walker’s death withing the F&F universe.
According to E!News, footage of of the funeral of Sung Kang's Han and Gal Gadot's Gisele, apparently set after the events of Tokyo Drift, was leaked online recently. It was quickly pulled by the studio. Diesel has lead a wave of tributes, which has so far included tweets and messages from the likes of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Liam Neeson and Zoe Saldana.
