The 'Bound 3' Parody Video Is So Good, Even Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Approve Of It

  • 27 November 2013

'Bound 3,' the parody video of Kanye West's latest music video, for the Yeezus cut 'Bound 2,' has taken the internet by storm and proved so good that even the two people being poked fun at find it funny, and these aren't people usually known for their sense of humour.

Neither Kim nor Kanye are known for their sense of humour

Kim Kardashian responded to the video on Twitter earlier this week to congratulate Seth Rogen and James Franco, and she even revealed that the usually stoney faced Kanye West couldn't help but laugh at it too.

"You nailed it!!! Sooo funny," Kim first wrote, retweeting the video initially posted online by Rogen. After being thanked by the comic and actor, Kim confirmed what many thought was merely a myth when she revealed that Kanye can actually take a joke and may have a sense of humour after all. She added, "He loves u guys! He laughed so hard at this."

Seth seemed blown away by the response, saying he was "psyched" that the pair enjoyed it. Judging by Franco's response, he was pretty stoked with the appraisal too. Maybe that's down to modesty, or maybe its down to the fact that both actors are genuinely surprised they're hearing from Kanye's fiancé about the video and not his lawyer.

Franco and Rogen did an outstanding job with the video

Kanye's joke tolerance-levels have been a topic for discussion in the past, most recently when talkshow host Jimmy Kimmel spoofed an interview the rapper did for the BBC, in which he claimed to be the the biggest rick star in the world and a fashion pioneer for wearing leather sweatpants. After the spoof, that saw Kanye and interviewer Zane Lowe replaced by children, Kanye went on an explosive rant on Twitter, where he claimed, amongst other things, " JIMMY KIMMEL IS OUT OF LINE TO TRY AND SPOOF IN ANY WAY THE FIRST PIECE OF HONEST MEDIA IN YEARS."

Jimmy Kimmel ended up rubbing Kanye the wrong was after his spoof

That blew over once Kanye made an appearance on Kimmel's show some weeks earlier, a move that prompted some to suggest the whole thing was staged, and even though he threw some icy stares across the table during the Live! interview, maybe that meeting taught Kanye a few things about humility after all.
