'Britney Jean' Streams On ITunes As Britney Spears Opens Up On Her Most Personal Album

Britney Spears has begun to stream her upcoming album Britney Jean via iTunes to give her fans an early sneak preview into the album she has described as her "most personal record yet." The pop star herself announced the new of the early iTunes preview via Twitter, where she tweeted, "Yay! Excited to tell you that #BritneyJean is streaming for free all week on @iTunesMusic."

The stream totals just 36 minutes for Britney Jean's 10 songs but there will be an additional 4 songs added to the deluxe version upon the album's release, according to Billboard. Spears' eighth studio album will include her recent hits 'Work B*tch' and 'Perfume.' However, both songs have not been as sky-scrapingly successful as the star perhaps would have liked. The former has peaked at No. 12 and debuting at No. 76 on the Billboard Hot 100 respectively.
So Far, So Good It Seems For Britney & David.
The 31 year-old singer has emphasised how personal her new material is as well as how the songs' content and themes have been directly influenced by events in her life. The twice-married and divorced star and fallen in love again with her new boyfriend David Lucado. "I'm in love ... I like the fact that [Lucado is] very stubborn and he's stuck in his ways," Spears gushed in an interview.

"He's just a simple man. I adore him. He's really funny and he's really passionate. I love the fact that anything he's involved in he's passionate about and it's contagious," the mother-of-two told Entertainment Tonight.

However the singer, who is preparing to kick off a Vegas residency in the new year, said that it wasn't a completely smooth ride for David when it came to her family, particularly her father. The star revealed that her Dad, Jamie Spears, ran a background check on David before giving the all-clear. "My Dad's a little crazy like that," she admitted.

However, she and David met shortly after her break-up this year with Jason Trawick. Though she claims to be in a happier place now, it appears that her emotions from a rather tough break-up have been channelled into her new work. "I would say [the album] was kind of like therapy for me. It just kind of transformed me," she explained. "As you write something your perspective changes. So, it was like my "good therapy record."
Britney Jean will be released on the 3rd December and is available to stream via iTunes now.
