Pop star Miley Cyrus has become notorious for her outlandish and often controversial actions over the past few months and last weekend's MTV Europe Music Awards were no different. The 20 year-old singer, who forced herself into the centre of attention at the summer's MTV Video Music Awards in New York City, yet again debuted a characteristically risqué wardrobe to match her dance routines.

Miley hit the EMAs red carpet and hogged the limelight in a low-cut, skimpy printed dress with images of dead rappers Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls and the words "PLEASE STOP THE VIOLENCE" emblazoned on it. She paired the dead rappers dress with a pair of thigh-high, chequered, peep-toe boots that will make your eyes go funny if you stare at them for too long.

Miley opened the Amsterdam show with a performance of her lead Bangerz hit single, 'We Can't Stop.' She wore a stretchy silver dress to correspond with the evening's space theme whilst a dwarf clad in black PVC danced with her, slapping her backside and twerking along to the music.

She opted for her heavy, Doc Marten 'Wrecking Ball' black boots, but paired them with an extraordinarily high-legged, long-sleeved leotard that showed us more of Miley's groin that we'd ever want to see.

However, some are saying that Cyrus's rebellion is part of a carefully sculpted plan to push the boundaries and ensure that she (and therefore her music) is centre-stage as often as possible.
