Oxfordshire Villagers Forewarned Of Gunfire During Brad Pitt's 'Fury' Shoot [Pictures]

Hollywood film producers have informed the residents of Shirburn in Oxfordshire not to worry about any nearby explosions while they shoot Brad Pitt's latest movie Fury.

Pinewood studios have taken the World War II historical drama to the tiny village until mid-November to shoot several action scenes for the flick which stars Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf and Logan Lerman.

In such a small community, gunshots and loud bangs will no doubt have a resonant echo and so producers have taken the time to inform everyone not to panic about any 'loud and unexpected noises' they might hear over the next few weeks. "We wanted to warn people in advance so that they are not alarmed," a representative from the studio told the Telegraph, "But also, we don't want people ringing the emergency services."

The Oxfordshire set will represent a German village from the 1940s as the movie tells the story of a group of American soldiers setting out on a mission aboard a tank named Fury to defend Britain and her allies during the Nazi regime.

Shooting has only just begun, and villagers do not appear to be affected yet. "They are moving stuff around but we can't see anything at the moment," said one resident.
