Seth Rogen V Those Dastardly Kids In 'Neighbors' [Trailer + Pictures]

Seth Rogen has slowly been moving away from the stoner character he half-plays in movies. And when we say half-plays, we mean that in the most affectionate way possible; we just get the impression there’s not a lot of actual acting going on there.

Anyway, he was the hilarious cop in Superbad, and he had some growing up to do in Knocked Up. But now he’s gone full-family man in Neighbors, which sees him, his wife and his baby up against an unruly gang of frat students who move in next door and take over the neighbourhood with their ridiculous antics.

In addition to the trailer, which you can check out below, Rogen released a promo vid – snaffled by the Daily Mail. In the video Seth, 31, introduces himself, saying: “Hi there I'm Seth and this is Zac. In our new movie Neighbors, I play a new father who just moved into our dream house with my wife played by the lovely Rose Byrne.” It’s a brief comedy sketch with a shirtless Zac Efron butting in, much to Rogen’s displeasure.
Efron plays the handsome, cocky and all-powerful frat leader: Rogen’s key antagonist. To begin with, it appears as though their youthful frolics are simply designed to entertain themselves rather than cause harm to Rogen’s middle class dream, but when Rogen hits back, war is declared. Hilarity has to ensue. It just has to.
