Taylor Swift Lands Role In Spy Film
Taylor Swift has offered a part in forthcoming spy film 'The Secret Service'.
The 23-year-old star was a ''natural'' on screen, and is the latest big name to land a role in director Matthew Vaughn's new film, in which Sir Michael Caine and Colin Firth have been cast as the lead.
A production source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ''Matthew looked at a number of actresses to play the part before settling on Taylor - apparently she was a natural on the big screen.
''She's also someone fresh and unseen in Hollywood terms which was massively appealing.
''She will be required to have some heavy-duty martial arts training in order that her character convincingly kick Samuel L Jackson's butt.
''It will be Taylor's biggest challenge to date but she cannot wait.''
A host of A-Listers including Adele, David Beckham, Sir Elton John, Samuel L Jackson, Tom Cruise and Leonardo DiCaprio have also reportedly been offered a part in the film.
The blonde beauty is excited about the prospect of working alongside retired soccer star David.
The source explained: ''She is also looking forward to working with David Beckham whom she thinks is amazing looking - but taken.''
Filming is set to begin in October both in London and south of France.
