Actor Walton Goggins Creates Mexican Drug Cartel Drama For Tv

Django Unchained star Walton Goggins is heading back to Tv as a series creator and executive producer.

The Justified star has reteamed with his The Shield producer Adam Fierro to develop a new cop drama, called Gringo.

The series will revolve around an American police detective who moves to Mexico with his wife and finds himself caught up in a drug war, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Goggins is not new to producing hits - his 2001 short film The Accountant earned him an Academy Award for Best Live-Action Short.
