Chloe Moretz Didn't Train For Kick-Ass 2
Chloe Moretz didn't have time to train for 'Kick-Ass 2'.
The young actress reprises her role as Hit-Girl in the new action movie and despite her character's numerous fight scenes, she reveals she did little preparation for the movie due to her commitment to the remake of classic horror film, 'Carrie'.
She said: ''I had a weekend off between 'Carrie' and 'Kick-Ass 2', so I didn't get any training, really. It was kind of like muscle memory for me, so we just kind of jumped right into the full choreography for the film immediately. I literally showed up and we started filming one of the first fight scenes in the first 10 days.
''We did some boxing, some jiu-jitsu, just to get me back warmed up into it. But it was mainly stuff I'd already learned and fine-tuning it. ''
The 16-year-old star also admits it was ''weird'' to jump from her role as troubled telekinetic teenager Carrie to playing her feisty, foul-mouthed 'Kick-Ass' character again.
She explained to BANG Showbiz: ''I went from being in pig's blood every night for two months to having a weekend off and going straight into my purple, leather outfit and fighting and doing crazy stuff. It was very bipolar.''
'Kick-Ass 2' is in cinemas now.
