Congratulations Fox, Gordon Ramsay Just Earned You $100 Million

Gordon Ramsay has pulled in a staggering $100 million from his television exploits in the U.S.
The Scottish chef, who carved out a reputation as one of the greatest in the world before turning to a career on the small-screen, is currently featuring in five different shows stateside, including Hell's Kitchen, Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares and MasterChef.
It is reported that marketing bosses earn more from Ramsay's show than any other in America and the celebrity chef raked in tens of millions in 2012.
The latest figures - as reported by The Mirror - show that the 46-year-old restauranteur makes his networks £64,000 per 30-second advertising spot. Estimates suggest Ramsay has made $100 million in ad sales revenue for Fox whilst also bringing in another $18 million from show sponsors.
The chef has also signed a new year-long deal with Channel 4 in the UK. A spokesman confirmed: "Gordon Ramsay remains exclusive to Channel 4 and the contract will run well into 2014. Together we are discussing a number of future programme ideas."
The numbers make incredible reading given Ramsay's company Gordon Ramsay Holdings Ltd last year reported pre-tax losses of £4.4 million. The chef also found himself in a messy legal battle with his father-in-law Chris Hutcheson, the former chief executive of his business matter. Hutcheson was dismissed from GRH in 2010, while the dispute was eventually settled out of court.
