The 36 year old actor - who plays badboy baseball pitcher Kenny Powers in the HBO comedy series - has since been discharged from the NC hospital after being given a precautionary check-up by doctors. As well as filming scenes for the much-anticipated fourth season of Eastbound & Down, McBride was last seen in the all-star ensemble comedy This is the End, co-starring Seth Rogen, James Franco, Craig Robinson and more as exaggerated versions of themselves as they face the coming apocalypse after a wild Hollywood party. He will also be trying his hand at a more series piece of acting when he again teams up with Franco for the upcoming As I Lay Dying, which follows a tight-knit Mississippi family during the gradual death of their mother.
Filming on the next season of Eastbound & Down is expected to continue once McBride has regained full health. As fans of the show will know, it'll take more than a pair of rollerblade to keep Kenny f*cking Powers from fulfilling his duties as a man. And that's what he is; a man.
