There Is No Truth To The Selena Gomez/Austin Mahone Dating Rumors

Several weeks have passed since the near-Apocalyptic Selena Gomez/Justin Bieber split and by now, fans and gossip columns have tried to pair off the former lovers with practically everyone in the known universe. However, Selenators got a bit ahead of themselves when they started circulating rumors about Gomez and Austin Mahone, according to E!News. If you’re lost, Austin Mahone is a pop singer, apparently aiming for Justin Bieber-type fame – judging from his viral videos, teeny bopper musical stylings and fondness for snapbacks.

He is also a good friend of Selena’s and nothing more, according to the website’s source. The unnamed friend claims: "They're really good friends and have a lot of fun together." Good to know. The rumors started spreading after Gomez and Mahone were spotted together at Disneyland this Wednesday. Note, they were not alone, but with a group of friends. Disneyland in a large group of people doesn’t exactly sound like a romantic date, but none the less, teens and tweens everywhere assumed things.

Since her breakup with Justin Bieber in May – hopefully the last one, but you never know – Selena Gomez has been linked to a number of major and minor celebrities. Usually, these rumours aren’t entirely credible, especially considering that Gomez has mostly been photographed enjoying quality time with family and friends and apparently, also visiting The Happiest Place on Earth.
