_Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt_ is expecting her first child.

The I Know What You Did Last Summer star has announced she is pregnant with actor boyfriend Brian Hallisay's child.

A statement from the actress reads: "We're so thrilled and happy to start a family."

Hewitt, 34, who was previously engaged to Scottish actor Ross MCCall, started dating Hallisay at the beginning of 2012.
