Beyonce Knowles pregnant – that’s a headline you will have read recently, but is it true? We’d say ‘lets look at the facts’, but in this situation, there aren’t many of them. Instead, let’s look at what’s been put out there.

The key perpetrators of ‘Beyonce is 100% pregnant’ news are E! News. They claimed Queen Bey was pregnant, saying that “multiple sources” confirmed it “exclusively” to them. They then lead with an exclusive, claiming that a pregnant Beyonce is set to hit the stage in Switzerland. Of course, this was taken as gospel, following an interview by the woman in question, in which she said: "I would like more children. I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love being a big sister. At some point, when it’s supposed to happen."

Truth is, no one apart from Beyoncé knows if she’s pregnant or not. She might be and not know it. Perhaps Jay Z knows and she doesn’t, like an episode of Friends. Bottom line: Beyonce might or might not be pregnant, but that isn’t a good enough headline for most people…
