Victoria's Secret: Kylie Bisutti Was No Angel
Victoria's Secret has blasted ex-model Kylie Bisutti, claiming she was not an official Angel.
The brunette - who hit headlines this week when she claimed she was treated like a ''piece of meat'' while working for the lingerie brand - was the lucky winner of Victoria's Secret first ever national model search in 2009 and walked in that year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
However, Victoria's Secret has now given a statement to People.com, insisting Kylie was never a Victoria's Secret Angel as defined by the terms of their contract.
It reads: ''Contrary to Ms. Bisutti's claims, she was never offered any subsequent modelling contracts or opportunities with Victoria's Secret despite her multiple appeals for further work.
''She has repeatedly fabricated her work experience with Victoria's Secret - including a relationship that simply did not exist.''
Fallen angel Kylie - who also claimed she had to play down her marriage in favour of a flirtatious relationship with other men - has given up modelling as she felt it sent a bad message to women and has since concentrated on a Christian clothing line to repent her sins with God.
She said: ''I realised that I didn't want to model anything that sold sex and my career was sending a bad message to women about confidence and body image.''
Kylie is set to release a book entitled, 'I'm No Angel: From Victoria's Secret Model to Role Model' to tell her career story.
Victoria's Secret also recently lost high profile Angel Miranda Kerr, who is leaving the brand in order to concentrate on her skincare range Kora Organics.
