Yoko Ono Publishes New Poetry Book
John Lennon's widow Yoko Ono has published a new poetry book nearly 50 years after her last offering.
The musician released Grapefruit, a book of "instructional poetry" in 1964, and she is now poised to offer fans a follow-up, titled Acorn, which she describes as "poetry in action with participation".
Ono reveals the book, which also features drawings, is based on her online musings.
She says, "It's something I originally created for the Internet. For 100 days, every day, a different instruction was communicated. Now it's being published in book form. I'm riding a time machine that's going back to the old ways! Great! I added my dot drawings to give you further brainwork."
Acorn will be released in June (13).
