Has The BBC Forgiven Russell Brand? Comedian Celebrates Comic Relief Triumph In Exclusive Club
Russell Brand’s relationship with the BBC may well be on the mend, as the risky comedian’s set at their Comic Relief ‘Give It Up’ show went down a storm. The 37 year-old turned out to be a bigger hit than fellow performer Frankie Boyle, whose humour tends to be even closer to the bone than Brand’s and apparently the Scottish comic bombed at Wembley Arena, according to MailOnline. Brand had previously found himself in trouble when he and Jonathan Ross offended the actor Andrew Sachs, on a BBC radio show.
The Embassy club is a known favourite of Brand’s. Back in 2008, he was caught in the toilets with two semi-naked women, by the staff that work there. He was joined, at his Comic Relief after-party by fellow dandy Noel Fielding, of Mighty Boosh fame.
