Jennifer Lawrence Without Makeup, But With Cigarettes And Wine!

Jennifer Lawrence without makeup! Who'd have thought it. The Oscar winning actress enjoyed some well-earned rest in Hawaii this week following a rollercoaster awards season which culminated in an Oscar win for Best Actress on Sunday (February 24, 2013).

Lawrence was always the hot favourite to take home the award for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook, though critics had favoured Emanuelle Riva heading into the ceremony.

In the end, it was the 22-year-old who did the business though tripping on the stage stairs at the Academy Awards took the shine off things, a little. "Thank you so much," she told the gathered audience after eventually making it up on-stage, "This is nuts. You guys are only standing up because I fell and you feel bad. That was embarrassing." Anyway, she won't care about that now after jetting off to Hawaii with a close pal to relax and enjoy herself. Lawrence was snapped by the New York Post chilling out on her hotel balcony, with no makeup, a glass of wine and a suspicious looking cigarette.

She wore slouchy sweats and a t-shirt and was seen deep in conversation with her pal. Lawrence also debuted her newly dyed black hair, in preparation for the reshoots of The Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire.

The Oscar-winner will also begin work on X-Men: Days of Future Past in the near future, before re-teaming with 'Silver Linings' director David O'Russell for a currently untitled new project.
