Leona Lewis Lands Activist Role With The Body Shop

British singer Leona Lewis has teamed up with The Body Shop to promote the eco-friendly brand's cruelty-free beauty message.

The Bleeding Love hitmaker, a long-time animal rights supporter and vegetarian, has been unveiled as the retailer's new Brand _A_ctivist, and will help the cosmetic company's campaign to end testing on animals for good.

The pop star is also lending her name to a special new make-up and fragrance collection for The Body Shop.

She says, "I'm passionate about beauty and I'm all about animal rights. _A_s a result, I'm really conscious of where the products that I use come from. The Body Shop sells cruelty free, ethical products containing amazing Community Fair Trade ingredients. The collaboration is a natural fit!"
