Nicole Kidman Lights Up Stoker Premiere As Matthew Goode Reflects On Female-Dominant Cast
Nicole Kidman maybe isn't quite as high profile as she was in her Moulin Rouge pomp these days, but there's no denying that when she hits the red carpet, she'll still draw the eyes of the world's paparazzi. The Australian actress was in London for the premiere of Stoker, the last film produced by Tony Scott before his death, and also starring Mia Wasikowska and Matthew Goode.
Kidman was joined by many of her co-stars at the gala screening of the new film - out in the UK on March 1, 2013 - but undoubtedly took the lion's share of attention with her gorgeous looking blue dress. The film has a predominantly female cast, so the Daily Telegraph caught up with one of the few male stars - Matthew Goode - to get his thoughts on that.
"It's like another day at home, me and my daughter and my wife" the actor enthused to the paper. "Yeah I love it, I mean also they're – taking out their sex – they're just brilliant actors which is just fantastic and really. I mean I'm such a fan, I'm such a fan of Mia, she's made me laugh a lot and she's so talented and Nicole is just an incredibly lovely woman," he added.
Kidman's got a busy year or so ahead, with both this and The Railway Man coming out and Grace Of Monaco following at some point in 2014.
