Stoker is out on March 1st, but it was another one of Kidman’s film that dominated attention. Having been criticised for being inaccurate, the actress took the oppurnutiny to defend Grace Of Monaco, saying: "I wanted to be respectful of her, her story and her essence so hopefully that will all come through. It's exciting but at first it was daunting. At the same time I had studied her and felt a kind of tenderness towards her."

The star described her role as Evelyn Stoker as a breath of fresh air compared to the film she'd filmed beforehand, The Paperboy. "I had fun. It was very different to The Paperboy, which I had just done, so as an actress that was a very appealing thing to play a very different character - polar opposites really," she said. "And also being in something so beautifully crafted, which is what director Park has done with this... He has crafted it exquisitely."

Stoker, so far, has garnered a fantastic critical response, with a 92% score on film aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes. The Guardian’s 4/5 review says, “Literary references and symbolism abound in Stoker. You can get tied up trying to figure out who is what. That is the idea.”
