The Italian tenor adopts a tough regime ahead of his concerts and that includes keeping a check on his sex life with his partner, Veronica Berti.

He tells Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "The activity of a singer that sings opera is similar to that of an athlete. _A_s for any athlete you have to follow a dietary regimen, sleep the correct amount of time, and not overdo anything, including sexual activities."
