SAG Awards: Tina Fey And Alec Baldwin Keep 30 Rock's Star Shining; Dick Van Dyke Takes Lifetime Honor (Pictures)

30 Rock probably just about took the spoils in the TV categories of the Screen Actors Guild Awards, with both Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin taking gongs for their respective performances in the comedy; Downton Abbey took a major award in scooping Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, and there was also a Lifetime Achievement Honor for Diagnosis Murder man Dick Van Dyke.

Her counterpart Alec Baldwin took the male equivalent category meanwhile, proving that the much-loved 30 Rock is still among the very best in American comedy. It did have to yield in the Ensemble performance category however, with Modern Family taking the win in its place, making up for their Golden Globes disappointment when they missed out on any group awards.
And to top it all off, a delighted Dick Van Dyke received a Lifetime Honor, presented to him by Alec Baldwin. Van Dyke of course came to prominence opposite Julie Andrews in 1960's musical Mary Poppins, but he carved himself out a successful TV career in the 1970's, returning to prominence again in the 1990's with hospital detective show Diagnosis Murder.
