Brooklyn Beckham Has Secret Chelsea FC Trial
Brooklyn Beckham is reportedly trying to become a professional soccer player.
The 13-year-old schoolboy looks set to follow in his superstar father's footsteps after it was revealed he had a trial with British Premier League club Chelsea FC at their training ground in Cobham, Surrey, South West England on Tuesday (22.01.13).
An insider told MailOnline: ''Brooklyn is like any teenager with an ambition to be a footballer. He has just returned to England and wanted to see how he fared.
''Chelsea are one of the strongest academies in the country. The difference is that he is the son of the former England captain and this will draw attention.''
Victoria and David's eldest son is thought to have wanted to find out what junior English soccer could be like following the family's move back to their home country.
Brooklyn was also on the Under 14 roster at the LA Galaxy academy while his father played in California.
David - who is wanted by QPR and West Ham in the UK and Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain teams in France - has admitted in the past he is very hard on his football-mad sons Brooklyn, Romeo, 10, and seven-year-old Cruz and constantly pushes them to improve their footwork.
He explained: ''I'm as hard on my boys as my dad was. They always ask, 'Did I play well?' I'll say, 'You did alright, could have done better'.''
