No Rest For Paloma Faith As UK Tour Gets Underway (Pictures)

It's traditionally a quiet month for live music, but try telling that to Paloma Faith who has just started a lengthy tour of the UK and Ireland. Faith was in the Irish capital of Dublin last night (January 21, 2013) after kicking off procedings at the Ulster Hall in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the previous evening.

Known for her extravagant dress sense, Faith looked fairly toned down by her ridiculous standards, wearing a sultry blue number with elbow-length gloves and a bonnet that left her looking like something out of the Roaring 20's. Accompanied by a full band and backing singers, the star looked happy to be back in her native UK, not that she's had a bad time of it out in the States.

Faith signed to Epic Records in the summer of last year and subsequently spent a good deal of time touring the country, gaining plaudits along the way. She's not enjoyed chart success over there as yet, but with One Direction and The Wanted both making a big splash across the Atlantic, there's perhaps a sense that the Americans are enjoying what Britain's pop finest have to offer.
